*Can I learn to dance?
Dancing is as easy as walking, once you are taught how by an Arthur Murray expert.  Hundreds of thousands have been successfully trained in Arthur Murray dance studios worldwide.  There is no age limit.  Our youngest students are usually in their teens, and our oldest are over 80 years old.  The great majority are in their twenties to fifties.

*Will it take long?
You will be able to dance after your first lesson.  The length of the course depends on how many dances you would like to learn and how proficient you would like to become in each dance.

*Is your system of teaching difficult?
We teach four simple basic movements, from which the new combinations are derived.

*How much do lessons cost?
The cost depends on a number of factors: how good you want to be, how many dances you want to learn, the number of days in your dance schedule, etc.  After your first lesson, your instructor will be in a better position to recommend a program for you.  You will have the knowledge to make an intelligent and informed choice.  Foundation programs start at $560 and go up from there.  There are many options available.

*May I take the lessons at any time convenient for me?
You may take your lessons any time you wish during studio hours.  Our studio is open Monday to Friday, from 11:00am to 8:00pm.  We are also open on Saturday by appointment.

*Will I learn the latest steps?
You can learn the very latest steps in any or all social dances, such as: Swing, Night Club, Country Western, Mambo, Cha-Cha, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, etc.

*Will I have to return each year to learn the newest steps?
After getting a good foundation, you will be able to analyze the new steps and pick them up yourself without difficulty.  However, many students return because they enjoy their lessons, the friends, and confidence they've acquired.

*Will I have a good teacher?
All of our dance teachers must complete a most arduous training regimen.  They are experienced on the dance floor and knowledgeable in all techniques to help you master today's popular dances.  Rest assured the teachers selected for you are the best in the business.

*What benefits do I derive from dance lessons?
Dancing is the first line of social activity.  Good dancing is a lifetime investment in fun, poise, confidence, improved personality and new friends.  It is also a superb physical conditioner, providing fun without strenuous effort.  Learning to dance will open up a wonderful new world of togetherness and thriving year-round social calendar!
